“Why yes, yes I do,” said the young soldier, who then stopped and looked directly at you, the reader. He blinked a couple of times, then resumed the conversation. “What was that?” said the grizzled general. “What was what, sir? The man in the banana suit or…?” “You don’t mean...”

  • "You see them too!?!" both the private and the general exclaimed at once. They stared at each other. "What exactly do you see, private?" "A face lit with faint white light looking down at us, sir." "That song on the radio and us both seeing that...it can only mean one thing."

  • The soldiers were now on the far side of the moon, video cameras in hand as they filmed Morten Harket doing his big concert with the Banana Man on the moon. "Now more soldiers will definitely join the moon base now that they know we do concerts here!" yelled the commander.

  • The problem with the moonbase music scene is that there are very few instruments. Each astronaut can only bring 200 grams of personal items. There are 3 harmonicas, a triangle, 5 kazoos, and 2 mouth harps available. Someone built a small drum kit from spare parts, as well.

  • Nevertheless the music here was... well better than you'd expect given the limitations. That's not to say it was GOOD, but there are sounds you simply wouldn't get to hear on earth. The Lunar Octet became a hit with spacefaring billionaires and a great deal of money was made.
