No one ever just passes through Pineridge. If you’re in town and you don’t live here, word will get around, and before you know it everyone will know of your presence. That’s why, when a girl who looked like she came straight out of a magazine showed up, everyone was suspicious.

The woman had a black latex coat that covered her figure. She looked intimidating despite her figure. She walked briskly around the town, as if looking for something.

Latex? Now that’s an interesting material. Who knew what she was into when the sun goes down? She needed a leash, some handcuffs and a whip. Told you she was a peculiar figure. She walked into the first store she saw.

"Welcome to Vern's Vinyl!" sang a man behind the counter. All around stood folks flipping through old LPs. "Sweet!" one man called from the back, "Lou Rawls!" The woman paused. Was this the right place? She was about to leave when an LP with the word "Polkarobics" beckoned her.

"Oh yes, Persephone, this is the place!", she said aloud as she thumbed through the polka exercise section. She took 4 LP's to the front counter and paid. She had a vintage hi-fi and a new set of polka-dot leg warmers. She was ready to sweat with Lawrence Welk.

She did her regular exercise and worked up quite a sweat. Persephone’s phone rang in her purse. Who else could it be but— “Hey, it’s Hades here. Ha deez nuts gottem.” Persephone frowned. “So anyway I packed for you a most exquisite snack — a pomegranate! Hope you enjoy! Bye now.”

She opened the bag Hades packed and eyed the pomegranate. “Hell, I’m not eating that.” Euphrosyne skipped over to her. “Hey, Pers! Whatcha up to?” “Here, you want this?” Persephone tossed her the fruit. Euphrosyne squealed, “OMG! Thanks!” Persephone rolled her eyes. “Have fun.”
