Advanced Vices and Dices

He grabbed the dices, shook them and threw them on the carpet. He looked at me, smiled and pointed at the first die he looked at. It had a symbol of a cat on it. "Once upon a time there was this sad, lone lion" he started the story. "Your turn" he said. Which dice should I pick?

Well, that dice right over there with a symbol of a dog. “And a wolf came up to the lion, who was sad because all the animals would leave him. But seeing as the wolf was different, it brightened his day.” It was his turn now. Which die should he pick next?

Perhaps the one with the rat on it? Sounds like a good idea. “The hamster came along with a block of cheese and shared it with everyone. Also, hamsters are just adorable!” Alright, time for a reroll. I picked up the dice. I shook, and shook, and released it all over the table.
