Make Some Noise

The day I’ve long been waiting for has finally arrived. What devious plans have I in store for today? So many options! I rub my hands in anticipation with a very cheeky grin. Someone’s day is about to be ruined.

I spent all night on my laptop, scouring the internet for the perfect mischievous prank! Who was I to play it on? There is no doubt in my mind that this year, my unsuspecting victim will be my mother-in-law.

Never mind that she’s 83, 80% deaf, uses a walker, and has a heart condition. That old lady is going to get the surprise of her life. Now to decide between a fireworks prank or a live animal prank. Oh wait, I know!

I set her car radio to notorious shock jocks Vance + Dingus in the AM and set the volume to 100%. Next day the lady yelled at her husband and butler, got in the car, and turned the key. One could hear the tasteless jokes all they way from the house, followed by a prolonged honk.
