Bitter Wishes

My deepest wish is to destroy the entire universe. I wanna destroy the entire universe and recreate it into one where everyone can achieve their wildest dreams. That is the reason why I decided to learn how to create wormholes, to connect other areas of spacetime to change lives.

Imagine the irony, though, when the first person to use one of my wish-making wormholes was Sarah Archambault, the bitterest woman in the galaxy. Her only wish was to spoil everyone else's dreams with her sourpuss attitude. Instantly, her jaded outlook invaded every living soul.

Sarah was an interesting individual. Her family descended from some oddballs over cross the river, who bunked with rednecks all their life. They invested in brand new startups, cocky with their money, and overall joyful. However, whenever they lost it all, they got depressed.

They hosted lavish parties, just to regret everything the next day.Sarah didn’t mind much, though.None of it got in the way of her love of animals.Of course, that was until her parents decided start to move in with her alien cousins.They lived in a wormhole in a different galaxy.

Which was really frustrating, since, although Sarah had the wherewithal to travel back to the Milky Way, she didn't have directions or a map… and yet, she couldn't just drive around indiscriminately. She had to know, which was the only half of the battle she couldn't seem to win.
