A terrible toast
She’d never seen or heard of this drink before, but the moment she saw it, she had to try it. It had thin slices of banana, espresso, foamed milk, a mix of spices. The rim of the glass was coated with thick crystals of raw sugar. It was glorious!

Nothing Abnormal about cooking
In a world where people had naturally purple hair, could levitate at least 3 inches off the ground, and surgically removed their fangs to avoid piercing their own lips - I had nothing. Nothing to contribute and nothing to stand for. A “Normie”. With not much to fight for.

Pearls among pigs in blankets
“Well look who it is!”, he shouted. “You buttered crumpet! You double stuffed sandwich cookie! You greasy lemon, you pig in an electric blanket, you shredded clam salad, you!” Blushing, I said, “yes, what is it?” He coughed, then said, “well how are you?”
