His name is Patrice Belanger, owner and operator of a media conglomerate that boggles the minds of stubborn elderly investors. His retort, it’s a catalogue of content, and today he wants to add an indie film studio owned by 72 year old Jack Ricks the meeting is about to begin…

“Call me Jackie, my friends all do!”, the producer shouted while shaking Patrice’s hand. “I’ve made all sorts of pictures over the years: monster flicks, romance flicks, prison movies, detective pictures, sci fi. My favorites though, were three pictures about a blind vampire!”

“Jackie,” Patrice said, “this is wonderful! I’m so glad you’re willing to donate your entire catalog.” Jackie pulled his hand back. “Wait a gosh darn minute. Whatdaya mean ‘donate’? I’m not giving up my stuff.” Patrice frowned. “But those old movies haven’t been shown in years.”

Jackie squinted his eyes, suspicion flooding through his veins like paranoid adrenaline. "This collection of media is mine," he reiterates, whipping out his phone to show a copy of his Will, "They're to be buried with me. Austin Powers Vol. 2 will be played at my funeral, too."
