This was the day. It took nearly a hundred years of research and experimentation, with dozens of failures along the way. But humanity had finally achieved it, the next stepping stone, the great dream fulfilled. Finally, we had it:
Eureka! The world would soon be acquainted with the majesty of teleportation and yet at this very moment only two souls had the access and wherewithal to make use of it: lab custodians Wanda and Jorn.
For their maiden voyage they chose to visit Omaha, Nebraska. It had long been Jorn’s wish to see his cousin there and Wanda was willing to provide the lab support to make that happen. Little did they know the cousin had since moved, teleporting him into a stranger’s living room.
Jorn was shocked to say the least. Pony lamps? Clown paintings? Macrame carpet? This was not the living room he was expecting. He and Wanda began to explore the rest of the house.
