Supervisor Dave confronted his employee, Renee, about her bad habit falling asleep on the job. First, he said,

have some coffee. Two sugars, just a splash of cream, right? There you go. Now, tell me exactly why you’re so tired every day, Renee. What’s keeping you up at night? Insomnia or moonlighting?

Renee fidgeted. “Fine,” she said. “I didn’t think you’d notice. I do have somewhat of a side project, but it’s hardly a second job. In fact I haven’t even made a penny from it, not yet.”
