Janice crushed her 20 oz Red Bull, pulled her keys out of ignition, and took one last hit of her vape while blasting 90’s house music. Opened the door, music stops as she composes herself waiting at “Le Duck” a popular restaurant in Rochester NY.

As she waited near the restaurant podium, a man approached. “Janice?” he asked. She looked him over and rolled her eyes. “Yeah?” The man inched back. “I’m Marc,” he squeaked. Great, Janice thought, they sent another meek idiot. “Let’s get this over with.” She headed for a table.

She outlined the program. If he followed her instructions exactly, and did the daily exercises she gave him, she guaranteed he’d have noticeably more charisma at the end of six weeks. She could give him the tools, but he had to use them. He looked down and nodded his assent.
