I’m a dreamer. I always wanted to investigate a rainbow and make it answer for its evasiveness. I once took my jeep to chase a rainbow, eating dry lucky charms the whole way with a determined glint in my eye. “Damn leprechauns ruining everything for the rest of us…”

I stood there, pondering those thoughts and the thrill of being a “rainbow chaser.” Would I actually get to see a leprechaun? Would they greet me? What would they have to say for themselves? I just pondered those thoughts, waiting for a rainy day.

Eventually, a few days later, rain came and, with it, a rainbow. I went to the end of the rainbow and waited at a distance to see if a leprechaun would come out. I waited for 3 hours, and just when I had given up hope, a leprechaun appeared.

He was currently shooting a television advert for a well known Irish alcoholic beverage; Guinness.

In one hand stood a tiny "pint" of the black gold and in his other a Gold Coin.

“Did someone say ‘black gold’?” The wall burst as a sea of Marines entered the pub. With guns pointed at the offender, they tackled the poor man, grabbing his pint of Guinness. “Ah, sweet, sweet oil.” The US anthem played as an eagle could be heard screeching in the far distance.

A bearded old man pointed at the sky and shoot his gun. Fulminated, the bird fell to the ground. "Eagle for dinner!" said the old folk. The piano stopped and the Marines became surrounded by the regulars. "The gold is mine!" Said "Why is so?" Replied the marine "Cause I'm black"

Eventually, they all came to a decision. They would pay the Marines the gold for the performance on the piano, and they would all bond while enjoying a freshly caught eagle. They just had to hope that the gold was enough. They had been playing in a random forest anyway.

As a wise man once said, “We built this city on Rock and Roll.” And that is the motto of Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson and his running mate Richard “Rick” Roll, who promise to “never give you up.” Citizens are urged to head to the polls today, vote Rock and Roll before it’s too late!

In a multiverse of dangers, there is one hero who travels it and confronts the evil. His name is Tim Shall. He has the power to hop universes, he is the fastest gunslinger there is, and he’s on a mission.

His mission? To pull of the first ever recorded time heist. To steal an event straight out of history and seal it in a time vault.
Tim smirked. What event was he gonna steal? How would it affect the timeline? He pulled on his mask and hopped in the multi-mobile.

Hovering through the fabric of time, Tim observed the surroundings. Everything is looking like crazy jitter of colors. The events are thousands and each of them are blurred by the occurring theory. He remembered, professor explained the theory to him way back in time.

Tim kept hovering there between the theoretical and the tangible, the past and the future, the infinite possibilities for his destiny and for the heist. He suddenly saw a dark thread weaving through the fabric of time, threatening the entire multiverse. He knew what he had to do.

Then he did it, without hesitation. But also hesitated, then did it. But also decided not to do it. But also tried to do it and failed. But also was hit by a meteorite before doing anything. He was experiencing all adjacent timelines simultaneously.

One day, there was nothing. All of the stuff disappeared and a void filled the story. The only thing that could be sensed was a distant voice saying, “Come find me. I will bring you home.” Except this voice only filled you with dread and fear.

We needed hope. A small voice pushing back the darkness. And it appeared. A smaller voice from beyond the void saying “I am the way.”

Soon, a blinding light appeared and the voice kept growing incessantly. We followed the light into the thick bushes and pointed thorns leading us towards nothing but mere darkness until we saw something that we wished we wouldn’t have.

There, in the thick, thorny darkness lay our worst of all possibilities, the living nightmare we'd all hoped to avoid, the gross reminder of our fragility and imperfection. Sit down carefully, reader, as we tell you: waiting for us in the dark, it was hemorrhoids!

I was only 13 years old when everything unfolded. I had hopes, I had dreams, and not a care in the world. Until I found myseld confronted by the hardest decision I have ever taken in my life.

“Original or Spicy?” Asked the guy at the counter. My meals had seemed bland lately, but could I handle the heat? “How spicy is spicy?” I asked. “One extra spicy, coming up!” It happened so quickly, and I was not ready.

For a moment, I considered speaking up, but how spicy can it really be? Oh, how naive I was. It burned like hellfire on my tongue but I could not show weakness in front of the guy at the counter, staring at me with a devilish smile.

“Hot enough for ya?” He said to me, still grinning with a mischievous look. Almost choking and barely able to speak, I managed to say “It’s…. not hot at all…… I’m ok….” I knew he could hear the pain in my voice. I barely cared. He stared at me in disbelief.

As tears from the spiciest rolled down my face, and with eyes as red as chili peppers, I forced myself to smile. “Give me more! I’ll tell you when it’s enough! You don’t know me and you’re not my dad!” Glaring, I know that this will not end until one of us passes out…or taps out.

"Actually," the pepper-giver said, "I am your dad." Suddenly, the tears streaming down my face were not from spice, but from joy. "Dad?" I stammered, "I thought you were in Brno." He smiled, "I was. I got you this." He held up a t-shirt featuring the Czech actor Július Satinský.

My grandparents hate me on both sides of my family I don’t know why. I’m going to find out though. If only I could time travel into the past and find out why. My parents split up for whatever reason and now I want to know more. I’m in college as well and the name is Liliana.

I just got a pair of retro 3D glasses today from a street peddler and he told me it can let me see the past of whoever I look at through them. When I looked at my mother today I saw a teenager sobbing on the floor of a bathroom with a positive pregnancy test.

“Am I an orphan?” my idiot brain said. Right then and there was the moment I realized these glasses are timeline warps, as my body took on the form of an eight year old in an orphanage.

“Where am I?” I thought. What is this? I was so confused and disturbed that I ran out of the orphanage and down the street, my mind flooded with thoughts. Had I really traveled back in time? Had I simply morphed into an orphan?

That was it, I had finally found my destiny. I became the mighty morphing orphan. I could move through time and space with a thought, and save the world with my skills. But I would never escape the sadness inside of myself.

Jerry glanced down at the photograph in his hand, then back up again at the woman sitting alone at the back of the cafe.

He had spotted his target. The bounty was all but his. He had to tread carefully. She was more dangerous than she looked.

All at once a blinding light coursed through the space. Jerry and the woman froze. And then a creature appeared, seemingly from the air itself.

“Do not be afraid.” The mysterious creature said. “I am not an hallucination. I am not a dream. I’m here to remind you of how much of a difference you’ve made. How much you’ve meant to everyone around you.”
