The Jazz Pianist's Dream

It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly, a shot rang out!

snoopy raised his head with a start, turning left to right to locate the source of the sound. His ears twitched nervously.

The sound was coming from upstairs. Slowly he padded to the 2nd floor. All was dark save a thin strip of light emanating from under the funny-lookin' kid's door. He scratched at it & the door swung open. "Happy Birthday, Snoopy!" The whole gang cried. They'd remembered after all!
