It was a lovely morning. The air was mild. Tulips dotted the field with their lollipop colors. A woodpecker tapped out the rhythm of spring, and a lark sang the melody. But somewhere off in the distance, the bear charged.

The destroyed tulips was indictive of the bears path, he moved with a fierce determination towards his target. Meanwhile Ted is in position flat on his stomach, rifle is ready, but he blinked and that's when he lost sight of the bear, until...

the bear suddenly dropped dead. Ted was shocked. He didn't even need to fire a bullet. He went to the destroyed tulips where the dead bear was and examined its body. "It died of human-to-animal transmission of COVID-19." Ted jumped and turned around. It was a scientist in a mask.
