I sat on the ground, watching stars burn out. Tears flowed down my face as a small dog ran over to me. "Hello there. What's your name?" I asked, looking around for someone to claim the dog. I pulled my sleeves over my hands, slightly panicking. "Do you have a home?"

  • My talking dog and I ran as fast as we could, far and away from Mr. Blue Shirt. We ended up at the edge of a cliff. We turned around nervously and saw Mr. Blue Shirt. He was smoking hot with an open blue shirt. "You seeing anyone?" I asked him. "Nope." was his reply. Nice.

  • My heart was banging in my chest like a sparrow in a cage as Mr. Blue Shirt approached. He was so close I could count his chest hairs. "So, uhh," he drawled, "what's your sitch?" I stammered, "Single/bilingual." He raised his eyebrows. "Oh? What's your second language?" he asked.

  • I panicked, after all, most people don’t consider tap dance a language. But I lived the tap life. I spoke it with the movement of my body. I decided to be honest for once. “No way” he replied. “I teach tap! Shall we dance away our days together?” And that’s how I met your father.
