  • Jack dusts himself off just as his sister slams down into him. "That didn't work out the way I thought it would," Jill says, "What if this time you distract while I get the water?" "We've tried that and many others like it. If we're going to do this, we need an elaborate plan!"

  • Jill sighs and sits down on the grass while Jack paces, muttering to himself. "We want water from the well," he says, "but there's a monster guarding it, that we can't distract." The two glance at the hill, watching the monster lumber around. "Stupid monster," Jill mutters.

  • “We’ll have to kill it,” Jack decided. Jill scoffed, “and how exactly do you propose we do that? We don’t have any weapons, and look at it, it’s massive!”

    "Listen, Jill." Jack sighed. "You've got a LOT of strength. And I've got my wits. We can do this." "You really think I'm that strong, Jack?" "I know you're that strong, Jill." Jill smiled at Jack, and held up her fist. "We can do this. Let's go get that water."

  • They turned towards the hill, but saw a lady and a little sheep up there. She tried to control it, but it went over the well, letting off a stream of its personally brewed tea. “Yeah, we won’t be having any water.” Mary had a little lamb, its fleece was white as snow.
