And they lived happily ever after. I can assure you, they lived free of worry or sadness from then on, until the end of days. This was quite a remarkable accomplishment given what had happened over the past 5 days. It was just yesterday that Gareth slayed the beast known only as

“Boo”. It preferred “Boo the Tormentor”, “Abominable Boo”, “Booboo Screech Weasel”, or even just “Booey”. But none of those stuck. Even massive fearsome beasts can’t give themselves a nickname.

"Hey, Boo!" It was the local womanticore, Ol' Hammerthighs. (We won't discuss her name's origin.) Boo turned slowly, twisting its expression into a smile. Boo wanted to be polite, really, but Ol' H had a voice like rusty nails on a blackboard. "Didja hear what happened to Snots?"

As the only Hemanticore for 100 miles Boo's obligation to his species overwhelmed his natural good sense. "No, what about her?" he winced waiting for her shrill reply. "Well," Ol' H thundered "I heard she finally passed the bar exam. She can help with your Gentleman Bob problem."
