Night Owls

Jerry glanced down at the photograph in his hand, then back up again at the woman sitting alone at the back of the cafe.

He gasped. They looked the same. Down to the mole on her cheek. This woman was who he had been looking for so desperately for the last 4 weeks.

All at once a blinding light coursed through the space. Jerry and the woman froze. And then a creature appeared, seemingly from the air itself.

The lady met his eyes and he felt a sudden rush of energy course through his veins. He had found Her. He walked towards her and shook hands with her. "Uhm- Will you listen to my mixtape?" He asked sincerely. The lady laughed, and walked away with the mixtape in her hand.
