She was fueled by fire, which really sucked since the whole town was made out of water.

She needed a dry spot and fuel. She swam in ever-widening circles and slept floating on her back. One day she found it: a shelf of rock, above the water’s surface. It had a tiny tree growing out of a crack. Her new problem: she didn’t want to burn the only tree she’d ever seen.

Her new problem: she din’t want to burn the only tree she’d ever seen. A storm arrived, snapping a small branch off. She scooped up the broken wood. It was enough to start a tiny fire.

She decided to take the branch with her. She ran as fast as she possibly could away from the storm, until she stumbled upon a small shed--seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
