    Bentley wrapped the sleeves of his sweater in his hands as he spoke anxiously, "I can read minds." His chest rose and he huffed, "It’s…not as fun as it sounds. I don’t know how to control it.”

  • an odd noise wouldn’t quit pestering his hearing. When he asked his mother, she claimed to not have heard anything. When he let his friend inside, he also claimed to not have heard any noise. Later in the evening, the noise just seemed to get louder but yet, no one else heard it.

  • “BET SHE CARES ABOUT THIS THO!!” **Switches to bookshelf speakers and cranks volume to max** I scream-sing with music. They scream in horror. Mom comes in, also screaming. Windows shatter. Aliens hovering above nod to the beat. Cops walk in and stomp on the speakers. I smile.
