Parrot - Parade

John Jigglepiff is an X-military medic turned now vet surgeon who loves taking care of injured animals.

John owns a ranch where people come from all over the world to see the rare animals he has rescued. He usually knocks down animals by throwing stones at them. And then he encapsulates them in spherical devices so he can heal and study them.

Unfortunately the technology John uses to encapsulates the animals has not yet been perfected. It is very common for the device to open suddenly in a burst of crushed bone and blood - and today is definitely one of those days.

Tina had just come back from her coffee break, mug in hand. As she walked in she startled a parrot that in turn startled her by squeaking loudly. The mug fell off her hand knocking one of the cages and they started to set off each other like a domino chain of bloody confetti.

Tina knew that if she left the cages like this, her boss would never get off her back about it. She would be the joke at every employee get-together! So she set her mug down and began standing the cages up as fast as she could. Only time could tell if she succeeded…
