Elio hated writing, but not for the reason you'd think. His writing teacher had recently set a limit to how many words could be in their assignments, and Elios was always either too short or too long. Abruptly he had a great idea to pen his story in Spanish to elongate the words.

From then on, Elio’s teacher gave a limit of how many words to be in their assignments and he said, “ok everyone, y’all can have 200 words in your assignment, Elios you got that?” “Yes sir.” said Elios
