She lay in her bed trying to fall asleep in the darkness of her room. Her mind slowly tried to relax and drift into a deep sleep. Just then she heard a noise in the corner of her room. She pulled the covers closer to her face as her heart began to race. Then she heard a “Meow”

"Did... did my dog just meow?", she asked herself. Confused, she jumped out of bed to turn the light on. She swiped her hand against the wall to flip the light switch, but it wasn't there. Then it registered — it wasn't her room.

She found a switch and lit the room. It was similar to her room but not exactly the same: wallpaper instead of paint, a platform bed instead of a canopy, windows on the opposite side. Then, she looked in the mirror and gasped with shock.

She was a man, balding, tubby, bearded. She tried to wipe away the reflection with the cuff of her sleeve, but that guy remained, staring back at her. "No!" she cried & his lips mouthed the word with her. Instinctively, her hands dipped into her pockets. A wallet! She opened it &
