Night Owls

Jerry glanced down at the photograph in his hand, then back up again at the woman sitting alone at the back of the cafe.

He smiled sadly..As always , her face appeared in place of that woman's.. but it never was her.... He crunched the photo up and threw it to the side.

All at once a blinding light coursed through the space. Jerry and the woman froze. And then a creature appeared, seemingly from the air itself.

Its body was deformed.. A curse from nature.. but he wasnt terrified.. Why would he be when humans are the most terrifying of them all
