Jerome worked as an engineer at a large company. Every day, he brought home something new to show to his children.

A toggle bolt. A cotter pin. Ball bearings. A mechanical pencil. But his kids’ favorite item was the slide rule.

Their idea of fun was trigonometry & logarithms. When other kids played in the sandbox, his kids were finding functions & ratios. Sleepovers stopped. Birthday parties went unattended. His wife was concerned. "Honey," she said, "the fruit of our loins are total nerds."

“Oh, baby! They’re going to make the next Microsoft, don’t try to stop them!”
The kids heard this, and got to work.
A day later, the parents were surprised to find the smallest pillow they had ever seen on their bed.
Its label? “MICRO SOFT”.

The next day, the kids unveiled a line of even tinier products: micro pencil, micro spatula, a fully functioning micro bicycle. “We’ve downsized everything,” they beamed. The dog barked once and sneezed out a perfectly proportioned micro toaster. Thus, ShrinkyDinks Inc, was born.
